This Privacy Policy explains how Deer Rock Studios ("Company", "we", "us"), as publisher of ORBIT, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the game.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: email address, user ID, display name (only when signing in via Google/Firebase Auth).
- Gameplay data: scores, coins, game history, preferences, language, and progress — stored in Firebase Firestore.
- Technical data: approximate country derived from time zone, FCM push token (only if you enable notifications).
- Purchase data: in-app purchases are processed via Stripe. We do not store credit card or payment details on our servers.
- Advertising data: Google AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and interaction data to serve and measure ads. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
2. How We Use Data
- Operate core game features: authentication, rankings, progression, and cloud save.
- Deliver optional push notification reminders (only with your permission).
- Process in-app purchases and grant entitlements (Season Pass, coin packs, etc.).
- Show interstitial and rewarded advertisements via Google AdMob.
- Improve game quality, fix bugs, and prevent abuse.
3. Data Retention
- Account & gameplay data: retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
- Push tokens: automatically cleared from our database if they become invalid or if you revoke notification permission.
- Purchase records: retained as required by applicable financial and tax laws.
- Ad data: governed by Google AdMob's own retention policies.

These third-party services operate under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their data practices.
5. Advertising & Your Choices
ORBIT shows ads powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may use advertising identifiers (e.g. GAID on Android) to personalize ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings (Google Settings → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization). Purchasing "No Ads" within the game disables all ads permanently.
6. Children's Privacy
ORBIT is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us for immediate removal.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
